When to book a shoot?

It is best to shoot your project as close as possible to install day and here’s why:

1- Extra stuff: your client will start adding stuff. Some stuff is easy to move, some stuff is more permanent. Like a dry erase board mounted to the wall with gorilla glue. Oh, you know it happens ; )

2- Less stressful: It is easier to coordinate one project (aka one family’s schedule) at a time than multiple. So, make it part of your design process. Just like every project starts with a consultation, every project should end with a photoshoot.

3- Ready to publish: if there is an opportunity to pitch a project for publication, I need the photos ready to go!

Styling tip:

Flowers and plants are great for adding color and life. If you don’t already have a pair of pruning shears in your tool kit, it is a must! That way, you are ready to go on a hunt for the perfect branch. Go for branches that are more sculptural. The more organic and natural, the better they’ll look on camera.

If you wanna book a shoot, you know where to find me.
