Should I hire a stylist?

If it’s within your budget, absolutely!

A stylist can take your already beautiful design to the next level.

Here’s an example of the transformation of a room recently featured in HGTV magazine. The stylist was Matthew Gleason. The first shot was taken with my phone while the styling was still in progress. The second shot is the final image.

A stylist can charge from $750-$1500 a day depending on their experience.

A one-day shoot typically requires three days for stylists. One day for prepping and shopping. A second day for styling, and a third day for returning props.

Sometimes, a stylist can be asked to work with what’s available. So if you were to bring all the props, then the stylist would only be needed on the day of the shoot.

I’ve had the incredible opportunity to work with super talented stylists in the last couple of years and I have learned a lot. I will be sharing some tips I’ve picked up along the way in future emails.

Here’s a list of these amazing stylists I've had the pleasure to work with. Check out their work, and enjoy the eye candy!

Jennifer DeCleene (IL)

Matthew Gleason (NY)

Michelle Adams (MI, but no longer styling)

Page Mullins (MS)

Jenny O’Connor (TX)
